Lil Wayne allegedly pulled a gun for his own safety, police are investigating
Lil Wayne Police are now investigating the incident when he allegedly charged one of his own bodyguards with an assault rifle during an altercation at his home.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ… A rapper’s guard told police that he and Wayne got into an argument at his Wedge, Calif., home in Hidden Hills, and officers said they were told the altercation escalated into physical violence and waving firearms.
We were told that the guard claimed Wayne told him to leave the house after the initial altercation, but the guard went to the bathroom first, and he claimed that Wayne escalated things dramatically at that point.
We’ve spoken to a source close to Wayne who vehemently denies the incident even happened…and tells us Wayne doesn’t even have a gun.
However, that’s not what the guards told the cops…our sources say the guards claimed Lil Wayne took out an AR-15…that’s when the guards ordered it from the house to the guard shed in the gated community , where he called the police.
We were told the police went to Weezy’s place to learn his story, but he was gone. The guard told police the fight began when Wayne accused him of taking pictures and leaking them to the media.
Other law enforcement sources involved in the case told TMZ… Police have questions about the guard’s story, who they said had no marks on his body and no injuries from the alleged physical confrontation.
We’re told the guards also don’t want to press charges against Wayne – despite police doubts about some of the allegations, they’re still investigating.
We contacted Lil Wayne’s camp…so far no response.
