The Astros had a good time starting their final road trip of the regular season on Sunday. They celebrated Zack Greinke by dressing like him for the flight to the West Coast, who was in the final year of his contract.
Dressing like a Greinke means dressing like a man about to board an ocean fishing charter—lots of fishing shirts, bucket hats, and shorts, maybe a little too short. Lance McCullers even came up with a fishing rod for his Greinke outfit. McCullers also used a Whole Foods bag as an accessory to his outfit, a nod to Greinke’s habit of sometimes hauling a bag of groceries to his locker booth before games.
Greinke seemed to be a good sport, posing for pictures with his teammates, wearing shorts and a Salt Life T-shirt, and carrying his own fishing rod.

Greinke, who turns 38 in October, started Sunday for the Astros, giving up five runs in four innings. Glink, who is 11-6 on the season with a 4.11 ERA, is in the final year of a six-year, $206.5 million contract he signed with the Diamondbacks in 2016.
