Katie Pavlich is an editor for Townhall.com and a former contributing editor for Townhall Magazine. As a Fox News contributor, Katie regularly participates in special event coverage and serves as a rotating co-host of the quintet. She has been a guest host on Fox News Primetime, The Ingraham Angle, Hannity and Fox and Friends. As a journalist, she has covered topics ranging from presidential and congressional elections to the White House, the Justice Department, the Second Amendment, border issues, the Islamic State’s genocide of Christians in the Middle East, and more. In 2014, Katie reported on Operation Protecting the Edge from Israel. In 2017, she traveled to China with a delegation of journalists, met with officials, and spoke with college students about the importance of free speech. In 2019 and 2020, she traveled with the State Department, covering a series of diplomatic visits by the Secretary of State. Katie is a columnist for The Hill and formerly a columnist for the Pittsburgh-Tribune.

Katie is the award-winning author of Assault and Flattery: The Truth About the Left and Its War on Women (Threshold Edition 2014) and New York Times bestseller Fast and the Furious: Barack Obama’s Bloodiest Scandal and Its Shameless Coverup (Regnery 2012). In 2015, Katie hosted the Outdoor Channel’s first documentary, Safe Haven: America’s Gun Free Zone. She was also interviewed on the History Channel’s American Secret series.

Katie graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in broadcast journalism and is a former Washington National Review Fellow. In 2017, she completed a fellowship for the Foreign Policy Initiative. From 2018 to 2019, she joined the Foundation for Defense of Democracies as a national security researcher. She is a current member of the White House Correspondents Association.

In addition to numerous national and local broadcasts, Katie shares her thoughts on multiple media venues, including Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, and Fox Business. She has served as interim host of conservative radio host Mark Levin and guest co-host of Washington, DC’s largest WMAL morning politics show. She is a regular speaker for the American Youth Foundation on college campuses across the country and is a frequent participant in conference panels.

In 2012, Red Alert Politics named Katie one of the Conservative Movement’s 30 Young Professionals Under 30. In 2013, Katie received the CPAC Blogger of the Year Award from the American Conservative League, and in 2014 she was named Woman of the Year by the Clare Booth Luce Institute for Policy Studies.

Katie serves on the boards of many nonprofits, including the National Press Center, a program of the American Youth Foundation, and the Enlightened Women’s Network. In 2015, Katie hosted the fifth annual SEAL Legacy Fund Gala in Dallas.

Katie grew up in the mountains of northern Arizona, rafting the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon, and hunting big game with her father in the forests and deserts that Barry Goldwater called home. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, her dog Gadsden, friends, family and the outdoors. In 2019, she ran the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, D.C.
