Who is Alex Polizzi and what is she famous for?
Alex Polizzi is a British hotelier and businesswoman who later entered the television industry.
Since 2008, she has appeared in the TV show The Hotel Inspector on Channel 5.
At the beginning of the show, Alex told the audience that she “has worked in top hotels for more than 30 years.”
In fact, Alex comes from a family of hoteliers.
Her grandfather was Lord Ford, a Scottish hotelier born in Italy, he founded the leisure and hotel group, and eventually became the Ford Group.
Her mother is the hotel designer Olga Polizzi, she is the daughter of Lord Forte, the British hotelier and Rocco Forte Hotels chairman Rocco Forte Sister of Sir Rocco Forte.
So of course she has the hotel industry!
People may not know that Polizzi studied English at Oxford University.
She also received training at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hong Kong and worked for Marco Pierre White.
Alex also opened a wholesale bakery with her husband, Miller’s custom bakery, and managed the Ensley Hotel in Milton Abbot near Tavistock, Devon.
On her Instagram, she said: “You may know that I am a hotel inspector, but you may not know that I am also a mom and foodie!”
Alex is not the only foodie in the family.
Her brother-in-law is the restaurant owner and British menu judge Oliver Payton.
Which TV shows has Alex Polizzi participated in?
Since 2008, Alex has been serving as a hotel inspector on C5.
In this series, she travels around the UK, trying to help troubled hotels.
Due to the success of The Hotel Inspector, Alex won another C5 series called The Fixer in 2012.
The plan saw Alex turn around the family business that was struggling to attract customers.
In 2014, she showed her travel show Alex Polizzi’s Secret Italy, and then in 2017 she showed off the spectacular Spain with Alex Polizzi.

How old is Alex Polizzi and where does she come from?
Alessandra Maria Luigia Anna Polizzi di Sorrentino was born on August 28, 1971.
She is 49 years old this year.
Alex was born in London, but has Italian descent.
She explored her Italian roots in Alex Polizzi’s Secret Italy on Channel 5.
In this series, viewers see Alex explore the culture, cuisine and history of Italy.
Is Alex Polizzi married?
Alex married the baker Marcus Miller in 2007.
They have two children-12-year-old daughter Olga and 7-year-old son Rocco-living in London.
She joked that she was a “very bad wife” because “her husband is so low on the list that she barely appears on the list”.
When Alex and Marcus first met in 1995, they were “crazy for each other”.
They were together for two years but broke up, then reunited and married in 2007.

The tragedy of Alex Polizzi
It is frustrating that when Alex’s father died in a tragic environment, she was only 9 years old.
The Italian Marquis Alessandro Polizzi di Sorrentino (Alessandro Polizzi di Sorrentino) was killed in a car accident in 1980.
She once said that although her father died young, she “had a very happy childhood.”
Alex also revealed that her life has changed dramatically during that time.
In an interview with the subway, she said: “In a short period of time, many changes have taken place in our lives.
“My father is dead, my mother goes to work, and I go to boarding school.”
She also admitted that her father’s death made her mother “fear” her child.
